what is up!

Ok I know I didn't keep up with the blog since vacation so... let me tell what has ben going on.
The floor has been installed and it looks wonderful.
Tim has been doing good at work, things were a little ruff for decemeber because he had so many people on vacation. I am sure January will go much better. I was an assistant manager at Bellsouth the term is called RAM for a team until they could hire another coach. That was a great opportunity. Bellsouth and AT&T merged today. Our Christmas was great. Very low key. I had a friend come over and eat with us. We had rib roast, it was a nice change from the usual ham.
I guess I have nothing else to report. What a very boring life I live.

Happy Thanksgiving

new day means new update...
yesterday I got the upstairs closet organized, cleaned the upstairs bathroom and vacumed the rugs up there.
Finished up last minute food shopping and baked a pie so that i wouldn't have to do it today.
I am now making pumpkin bread and getting the bread ready for stuffing.
Tim and his uncle are putting in the hardwood floors as I type this. It is going to look so good. Of course I will add pictures when they are done.
Todays Menu will consist of

Herb roasted turkey

stuffing

yams

Mashed potatoe...the real kind with the skins on

beets

corn

rolls

gravy

then apple cranberry pie for desert.

I think I am ready for a nap now LOL
I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and spend time with your loved ones.
One thing I am thankful for this year is ....really everything. I am thankful that we have jobs and each other we have our health and even tho its a little on the tight side with some things i am greatful for that as well...it reminds me that i need to be more humble and not expect so much.
Tomorrow starts my christmas decorating. I normally go shopping on black friday however no money this year to do that. bummer

take care everyone,
peace, love and thankfulness

Day 2 of vacation

Ok so yesterdays list did not exactly get completed. Here is what I did get done

2 downstairs bathrooms cleaned

The kitchen was cleaned from top to bottom....that means fridge was completly stripped and scrubbed...I even sanitized it.

The long cupboard was decluttered and items moved to the pantry.

3 loads of dishes done

Kitchen table cleaned off ...yikes the most expensive cathall I have ever seen

I got on my hands and Knees and scrubbed the kitchen floor...my knees still hurt.

I made dinner
and finally
I put all the laundry away.

Today we
moved all the stuff out of the living room

Tim ripped up the carpet and foam underneath it

I removed all the staples and tack strips. ... my hand I think is permently bruised from pulling all the staples out.

Just a night of relaxing now.
I hope you all had a great day!

First Day of Vacation

Hello,
Welcome to the first day of vacation! I will try to update this everyday that I am on vacation so to keep you informed of how I am going to enjoy this entire week off. I have so much planned that I think I may have overdone it.. But hey that is what we as americans do....over do things.
SO Day 1
* Tim has left for work since he had to go in... but he will have the rest of the week off.
* I made my list for grocerys for thanksgiving.
* I went to the bank and deposited some money. Just in the nick of time since some checks are about to clear. PHEW!!!
* Went shopping I spent 90 on food however after my coupons and bonus card savings I brought it down to 69.00 I really forgot how much I love using coupons!!! look out grocery stores because i am about to put a hurting on you! LOL
That is what i have completed... here is what I have planned for the rest of the day.
* Put grocerys away
* clean out fridge... way to cluttered and i am running out of tupperware. :O(
* organize freezer both in house and outside. clean outside of outside freezer as well
* Clean all 3 bathrooms
* organize spare bedroom closet
* vacume all rugs upstairs.
* bring in christmas stuff ( might get put off til tomorrow)
* Start moving things out of living room so Tim and I can remove the carpet tomorrow. The hard wood floors go in on friday!!! I can not wait!!!
* make dinner... something simple I am making spagetti
I think that is enough for now, If I do more then of course i will update.
I know to some of you this sounds like a crazy way to spend a vacation...however these are things I never find time to do.... except clean the bathrooms and vacume I do that on a regular basis. sortof I am so excited to be spending a week at the house... not going any where. AHHH
we are not going to Ronnies this year for Christmas. Even tho we have gone the last 2 years I am glad we are staying home, we have done so much traveling this year that i am bushed. We went to Mexico in June then to Tenn in July then to NY in Sept I am tired of traveling. Well if I am going to complete my list I had Better get a move on it.
If I forget to say it later on...
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Peace and Love,
Sabrina

So much fun

I went out with my friend Des tonight. We had such a good time. I met her at work and then we went to her house to let her dog out, then we went to olive garden for dinner and then target to kill time before the movie. We saw Flica. It was a friggon awesome movie. I cried twice. Tim Mcgraw plays the dad and I didn't even recognize him with out his scruffy goatee. However now it explains why i thought he was so cute.
good movie .... i highly recommend it!!!

A weekend all to myself

Tim is in the mountains this weekend with a bunch of his friends from Atlanta. I have the entire weekend to myself. I can do as I please...not that I usually dont already. I worked an early shift today and I loved it. I think I will do some scrapping this weekend...yes I have a swap I need to finish and 2 circle journals to get out. Tonights girls only dinner will consist of tater skins and a hamburger. yummy! Ghost wisperer comes on in about 55 min. I love that show. I watched Greys attatomy last night...good grief what is going on with those people. Izzie has a check for over 8 million dollars and she tacks it to the fridge...WTH? I would be doing things like crazy with 8 million dollars. my houses would be paid off thats for sure. Tim would definetly get the garage he wants. Cars would be paid off. the rest would be in the bank til I could think of something else to do with it after i traveled the globe.

its beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Does that one statement send you into a frenzy of nerves? It does me. I have so much to do...lets make a list!
things to do before dec 1

put hardwood floors down. I can not wait for this!

figure out what cookies to make this year to hand out

who am i buying gifts for this year other than Tim

Figure out invite list to Christmas party on Dec 10

Christmas decoration list ready

what to get Tim's team for christmas

menu for said Christmas party

put together a list of things i would like for christmas. Tim can't shop without a list HEHE

I know there is more...I just cant think of it right now.
I had a great chat with my friend Barb last night...we kept IM each other and she makes me laugh so hard I almost pimp! I really miss her and our weekly chats at the olympic over spanikopita, ahhh those were the days. Her oldest daughter Brandi is expecting in feb. Her youngest daughter heather's baby just turned a yr. Man how time flies. :O(
I wish they lived closer. Heck i would settle for a 2 hour drive instead of 9
ohh well one can hope right?

This and That

Just a quick check in. Nothing like sitting in the big comfy chair on a sat morning with your laptop....knowing you have nothing pressing to do. I am still trying to decide if i want to go back to school. Tim thinks I should go just so i can finish my degree. There are only 6 classes left until I am completed. It almost seems like a waste because I probably will not get a job in this field because the pay is so much less than what I get paid now. grrr do you take a job because you love the work or because you need the money and the job with all the money isnt so bad on most days. decisions decisions

We are back!

Tim and I went to Ny over the weekend. It was ok. It was great to hang out with my friend Carrie and Barb. Kasey...Carrie's little girl is so cute!!! Too bad she screamed her head off everytime Tim walked into the room. I didn't get my eyebrow pierced like I wanted. Tim did get his tattoo, he likes it. That about sums up the trip. Nothing new going on up there...everyone still doing the same thing.

OH boy

Well here it is 12:02 am and I am not sleeping. I have to get up in 3 hrs to get ready for a flight that leaves at 6am. I am going to Buffalo NY for the weekend. I can not wait to see my neice shavonne and my nephew Quinn. I also hope to see my other nephew Josh but who knows if my brother will bring him around. He currently is not speaking to me because he owes me 280.00. I should be the one not speaking to him. I am excited to see my sister. I am hoping to get a few photos of her and I while I am up there. honestly i am excited to see my whole family. The last time i saw them was last october I am sure the little ones have gotten so big. Shavonne is in Kindergarten for goodness sakes.
It will be nice to just hang out with carrie for a while too. Tim will be getting a new tattoo while we are there. (of course)
Things have been going pretty good at work. Carole is back and she had a great time in China. I did pretty good with her team while she was away. The whole thing was a very big eye opener for me into the mgmnt team. Makes me wonder am i ready for this full time? Can i handle it? AM i mature enough? WHo know. Lots of center changes coming up in the next month. More on that later I think I will go watch tv now.

Times are a changing

Well I have to drop out of school this semester. I will start back again next semester. I got a teacher i just can not please. I have yet to pass a paper I submit and the kicker is i have a cpa helping me with the homework. SO i have emailed my counselor and will begin the proceedings. It saddens me in a way however I am looking for a break. things are changing at work and I need to focus on that right now. I am hoping to apply for a coach position soon at work. Carole (one of the coaches i team lead for) is on vacation in China. So I will be running her team for the next 20 days. I am excited. My Ipod broke so i have to take that in tomorrow to get repaired. Time for dinner..

Sunday, August 27, 2006

here it is 11:03 at night and i still can not sleep. I am usually in bed by now for at least an hour. We got highspeed internet this week. YEAH! its so much nicer than dial up. I really needed it for school this semester. Thats another thing.. i can not seem to get connected (mentally) for these classes. I dont know what the problem is. i just feel unconnected. i feel unconnected with the world. Whats my purpose? what am i supposed to do with my life? Certainly i wasnt ment to work at bellsouth my whole life. Can i tell you what i really want out of life? no. its always the same. i feel so unimportant. like i am just a teardrop in a very big puddle.

I was wrong

about how friends are an assett. If you read my previous post then you would have understood that last statement. The new friends I thought we made... don't talk to us. I have no idea why. I have emailed her and she doesn't respond. I am beginning to wonder if it's me. Maybe I expect too much from people. Maybe my standards are too high and noone can meet them. I don't know and I no longer care. I am off to go clean my carpets.

Home Improvements

Here are a few recent projects.
The kitchen got a new antler chandelere. I've been eyeing this one up for a while but it was $200. I continued to watch for a sale and got one better. Someone had mismarked the display for $82. Well, I didn't think I had a chance but asked to see the manager. He confirmed someone has made a mistake. I sighed deeply and said "gee, my wife has wanted this for a long time and our anniversary is next week..." (sad, dejected face...) I continued... "man, that was a real tease... she would have been so suprised..." with that the manager told the other employee to give it to me for that price and said "Happy Aniversary!" I was so shocked... I thought it was worth a shot. LOL It was a pain to install however, we love the look it adds. I also installed this new ---->
ceiling fan in the master bedroom. It's much bigger and way quieter. This was a pain to install as well considering the "creative license" the electrician took.... eeesh don't get me started!

I saved the best for last... Mom and Dad came for a visit... so of course I had a project for Dad to help me with.
The tile when you firs walk through the front door was in bad need of replacement. This pic is a bit dark. The tile is a 6" porcelin that resembles slate... the border will help tie in the new hardwood floors we are currently saving for... I'm leaning toward a natural cherry... something to slightly contrast the pine the house was built with. It took alot of prep however, was well worth it! This matches the house so well and is installed the right way! Which in this house is a rarity unless I do it myself! (with Dad's assistance of course...)

We are back!

Well as of a week ago we are back from Mexico. It was my first international trip and I think I set my expectation too high. I was not prepared for the poverty I saw when we left the airport on the way to our resort. I can see why they are leaving and trying to come to the USA. However it is crippling us because they have nothing to contribute to society. They take and take and give nothing back.
We flew into Cancun and stayed in Playa de carmen which is about 40 min outside of Cancun.
The resort was nice, very big and lots of marble. We originally went there for a wedding and we just turned it into a wks vacation so we were there with about 40 people. Trying to get 40 people together to do something is crazy! It is so hard to get people together for anything. The beach was beautiful. I got severly sunburned and had to stay out of the sun for 3 days. Tim got montezuma's revenge and was in the room for a day. He never did get to go 3 wheelin. We went to cozumel for a day. It was so much fun. Tim bought me a ring that is tanzinite and australian opal. very very pretty. it is proving to be a bit hard to get it resized.
all in all the trip was good but I am not looking to leave the wonderful USA for a long time.
It is amazing how much you appreciate something when you are with out it. I will be exspecially gratefull this 4th of July to be living in a country as wonderful as ours. I truly feel blessed to live here.
peace and love

IN 5 days

In 5 days we will be in Mexico!! I can not wait. However when we come back I need to buckle down and get somethings in order. I need to get the one credit card paid off. That should take two wks of working 6 day work weeks. I also need to make sure I buckle down and stay on top of this homework. I dont want to lose my b average in school. It would be awesome if i could graduate with honors. I hate my math class. It brings back all the fears and irritations of math in high school. The professor of my IT class has a last name of FAIL. How am I supposed to take direction from a man whos last name is fail? LOL when we come back I have 2 extra days off and monday i will lay like broccoli and do nothing...well maybe I will do some laudry. On day 2 I will spend the day in the scrap room. I dont think i will get anything created but I will get it clean and organized... well time for work. SIGH>>> can i go to mexico now?

Monday, June 05, 2006

in two weeks that is. I find it funny how 2 wks sounds shorter than 14 days when it really is the same exact time. I am so ready to sit on a beach sipping a pinia colado or some other fruity drink. Tim has all this stuff he wants to do in Mexico, like snorkeling, swimming with dolphins, deep sea fishing, visiting the ruins. He also wants to go 4 wheeling thru the jungle and on the beach, swim with manatees. Jeeze he is going to need a vacation from the vacation. I really have no intrest to do any of it except visit the ruins and swim with the manatees. I just want to relax and do some site seeing and shopping.
So last week when we got paid...it was the first paycheck I ever got from bellsouth with no bonus on it. Man it sucked! I dont depend on the money to pay the bills but i do rely on it to do the extra things we like to do. I hate not being able to make a bonus as a team lead. I am going to ask teresa if i can work peoples 6th days at work so i can get some extra cash. we are not hurting by any means i just dont like haveing less than 1000 in the bank at all times. And i dont want to dip into either on of the savings accnts. It will work out so i dont really stress about it.
Tim is having a good time being a coach. Some of his people are testing the waters to see how far they can push him... they are realizing that its not very far. Ginnifer on Tim's team and I talked about doing a girls weekend in GA. or we might go up to TN or hang out in charleston. We havent figured out wich yet but she cant wait to go, neither can i for that matter. I have not spoken to corina in awhile. They live up by work and i just do not have the time on the weekends to go see her. Besides tim needs a break from her husband.
Sarah went to the groomers yesterday. We had her shaved and now we call her nakki dog! lol
She looks too funny but i am sure she likes it better. she also got a bath and her nails trimed and her teeth brushed because her breath was nasty!!!!
I will take a picture and post soon. I am going to close here.... i have cleaning, homework, and dinner to do... so .... adios

So much to catch up on....

Well so much has happened since I have posted last. let me begin...
Sarah and Star attacked the new screen door and it is completly ruined. I have never seen Tim so mad, not that I blamed him. So sarah has to stay locked up in the pen when we are going to be gone for more than an hr.
Tim had a BBQ for his team at work and we cooked for 2 days. Everyone showed up except for 3 people and then the one person had the nerve to get mad at us. LOL
At work we have now trained to be Universal service reps. I dont want to talk to people about their bills. Its way to confusing.
On 05-05-06 Tim bought me flowers and had them delivered to me at work. It was so sweet. He bought them because 5 yrs ago that day he asked me to marry him. On the card he wrote "the best decesion i ever made was 5 yrs ago today.. i love you with all my hear" I will post a picture of them once my camera finishes charging.
I didnt do anything for National Scrapbooking Day on 05-06-06, and i am ok with that. I really need to clean my scraproom and organize it.
as of thursday it will be exactly 4 wks till MEXICO!!!! WAHOOOO i cant wait. We went out and bought Tim some clothes for mexico. We are going to Ronnie and abby's for memorial day weekend. nothing big planned...just hanging out.
I got new glasses today and i really like them. They make everything look so much sharper.
Bye!

Screen Door

I've been lucky to have Chuck (cousin) come up a couple times from GA and give me a hand with some projects around the house! This screen door looks like any easy project huh? Ha... not if it's a Shaw project! :-) When the front door was originally installed it was totally wrong. So the first step to installing the screen door was to rip the existing front door out and re-install it correctly. Haha it get's better... well considering this is a log home, the exterior walls are solid yellow pine. Of course the initial opening was too small so I had to make a cut across the top of the opening to make it taller. This was accomplished with a saw-zaw. (Chuck always seems to find a tool I don't have! LOL My tool collection grows with each visit.) This was heightened to a new sense of fun as I sawed through many knots, standing on a ladder with saw dust in my face! (Chuck was kind enough to take the supervisorly role. hehehehe) It was an all day project and I was whupped by the time we cleaned the tools up! We've been enjoying the wonderful breeze. (I'm still wondering if all that work was really necessary! :-P) I just need to put some polyurathane on it and we'll be good to go. I've enjoyed the time spent with Chuck. He's taught me a ton in just a few short visits. I'm saving for hardwood floors next. Charlie you may need a vacation day to recover from the next project! hahaha

New Kitchen Table

We finally bit the bullet and bought a new kitchen table. The table top is solid red oak while the legs on the table and chairs are hickory, and yes the bark is still on parts. :-) It comes with 2 leaves and six chairs. Built by the Amish we paid... well... let's just say a little higher than we initially budgeted. ;-) However, at least we have room for company to eat at a table like civilized humans do! LOL We are hoping to possibly get a matching bed... dreading the cost.

Look what I did!

I am in a monthly swap with a group of ladies from around the U.S. Every month someone hosts a different swap. This month Melissa hosted the swap and it was an inspiration box. We each had partners and got a bunch of scrap stuff "we" liked not our partner. We mail the box and they have to create something with the products in the box. I had so much fun. I used colors that I dont normally put together... they are now my new favorite colors to work with.
take a look and tell me what ya think!

Friends

It seems like such a simple word. When I think of the word I think of a few different things....Loyalty, support, giving, listening, laughter. I have had friends (or who I thought were friends) come and go. I eventually became disgusted with the whole situation of friends leaving so I said forget it... I don't need them. I can exist with out friends. Having a friend is highly over rated.
Then I met Carina. She is Roberts wife and Robert is a guy on Tim's team that he works on. I met Robert first and thought he is nice, I could handle him hanging out with Tim. Robert mentioned that he has a wife and a little girl named Milan and she is 7 months. He also said that his wife likes to scrapbook! Well that is all I had to hear. I had to meet her. So they came over one Saturday and we all had a great time laughing and talking. Carina and I talked about getting together some other weekend and we would scrap. I have to admit I thought to myself "Yeah right...she won't call" Well I was working the next Saturday and Robert called to see if we wanted to go out to dinner, after I got home from work we all went out. I asked Carina what she was doing next Sat and she said nothing. I suggested we go to the scrap store and then we could just hang out for awhile. ( again I am still expecting her to blow me off) So the following Sat Tim and I are heading back from Hickory, we had to pick up the other 2 kitchen chairs. She called on the cell phone and asked if we were still going to the scrapbook store. I said sure (surprisingly happy) and then she said lets go to a movie. Umm ok sure. Now I am in disbelief because it has been so long since someone has asked me to do something and really wants to do it.
We spend the day together window shopping, went to the movies and saw failure to launch, went to the scrap store and had lunch. We laughed, shared secrets, and past life issues. Lets keep in mind that I have known her a total of 3 wks. I know her better then people I have known for years. She paid her own way for everything and even bought me lunch. It was a great day and I really needed a girl's day out.
So in conclusion I take back what I said about friends... they are not over rated, but a great asset. They help keep a person sane.
Thank God for friends!!
Peace and Love,
Sabrina

Tim's new hobby...

Lately I've been feeling I needed a creative outlet. This all started after I volunteered myself for a project at work. The project turned into a 10 ft mural! Long story and many hours later I was actually quite pleased with the result. Especially since this was my first time painting! :-) I'll see if I can get a pic with my phone. Ok, so back to the new hobby... here's the highlights as to not bore you to death... saw a new toy at the Log Home Show... it's a pnuematice high speed engraver (aka: wicked fast (420,000 rpm) cool knew toy)... toy was very expensive... waited for months saving up the money... got the money up... tenant called, the furnace broke... called furnace guy... paid $1,400 to furnace guy... no more toy for Timmy! Waited a few more months, did some internet research... found similar toy for 20% the money... said yippe and but said new toy! :-) This tool can engrave almost any surface. (glass, metal, wood, egg shells, etc, etc) The pictures below is of a dried gourd I carved and then painted. this is only about the 4th piece I have experimented with. I was quite pleased. The goal is to be able to sell my art and have a paying hobby. The gourds are only $1 each and there is an endless supply out here in the sticks! LOL I think I may put my next one on E-Bay just to see what I could get for one. Feel free to leave coments with any feedback or ideas of other scenes or items to engrave.

Rambling

Well here it is March 24, 2006. Officially it is the 4th day of spring. We had better weather before spring got here. It will be high 40's maybe low 50s today. Chemlawn is coming out today to start treatment on our lawn. There really isn't any grass...its a bunch of weeds in the fall they will plant seed so that we can get grass in the dead spots. Sarah will have to stay in the fence today. The recommend not having your dog on the grass till it drys which is a couple of hours.
this is my last week of school for this block of classes. I still have to do my report and the power point presentation. It will be a long weekend. I was going to do some of it yesterday while i was off, however i was just too sick. I changed my associates degree. I was taking associates in buisness arts. They just came out with a new program called associates in IT. Since i am going to get my bachlors in IT , it made sense to get the associates in that as well. I am hoping that once i get this schooling under my belt i can move somewhere in bellsouth to start doing networking.
Speaking of bellsouth...things are going pretty good. I really like being a team lead. Carole has done so much to teach me. depending how things do after my yr as a team lead i might just go for a coach position. I was always looking at the money aspect at bellsouth before i went to a different position. Being a team lead i dont get bonuses anymore like i used to, so thats a 1500 paycut a month. :O( I am happier though and that is what counts. Tim still likes being a team lead. In fact he put in for a coach position. I cant wait to see who he gets on his team.
We bought a new table 2 wks ago. It seats 6 and has two leaves in it. Its very rustic which goes great in our house. Its made out of oak and hickory, the thing cost 2500 too bad we wont have anyone to pass it down to when we die. well time to get ready to go to work.
Peace and love

The first signs of spring

I love spring!! I took friday off as a vacation day and i did nothing!!! That was fun. I really needed a mental health day. I only had to reschedule it 3 times. I did some scrapbooking for a couple of hours and then I watched some TV, I sat on the swing on the porch and read my book. The peach tree is in bloom so I took some pictures of that and the yellow southern bell looked pretty so I took some pictures of that. I will post them once I pull them off the camera. I made dinner and thats all I did on friday. It felt great! On Sunday Tim and I went for a motorcycle ride. We went up to lake lure and had lunch. On the way up there we saw a bunch of other people riding so we joined in with them. They were pretty nice. It was awesome being on the bike again. When we came home I had this paper I had to write for class and when I first read the assignment I thought it wouldn't take me that long. I was wrong it took me 6 hrs because of all the research I had to do. Next I will make sure I read the assignment better. I did get a 90/100 on it. So I am happy about that. Time to get ready for work.

Spring Cleaning

I am off today. I love having days off during the week but hate working the saturday to make up for it. What can ya do? So I woke up this morning thinking I will be home all by myself so I want to do stuff that I cant do with Tim around. What do I do? I clean. LOL I rented a rug dr and cleaned the living room rug and I realized that our couch is way to heavy to move by myself. I think I pulled something. The rug looks a little better I still can't wait to just replace it. We are still going to put hardwood floors in. I bought an spring green area rug to put down. It has different shades of green and white. Very pretty. I got two compliments on it as I was leaving the store. If I can get those same compliments when it is in the house that would be super. I also bought a new shade to go on the living room door. On there now is a shear curtin and I hate it. I bought a dark cilantro colored pull up shade. It looks just like a curtin but gives much more privacy. Now I am off to take a power nap so I can get back up and clean the bedroom and put the laundry away. That has been driving me crazy for a week. I just hate putting it away.
Till next time...

The good and the bad

With my last post there was a little sadness, there is a little more with this post. Things are not going to pan out the way we thought they were going to with our move to GA. He would have to take a paycut of about 10-15k and we just can not afford that at this time. It looks like we will not be moving to ATL anytime soon. Really who needs friends close by,... its highly overated. LOL On the good side I have a new position at work. I have become a team lead for my currant team and carole's team. I am excited about the position and the new opportunities it will bring me. Tim is applying for a coach position. He said he is ready for his own team, so great things are happening at work for us. Its about time. LOL My nephew Quinn will be 1 yr on the 18th. I miss all my nephews and niece. :O(
Peace and Love

Another post?

Great Googlymogly.... posting 2 days in a row, who would have thought that would happen? LOL
Well I got word today that I did not get the position in Atl with the broadband dept. However my name has been added to the list to be a team lead for the students. I am bummed about the job in atl but hey...it just isnt time yet. Tim talked to a realtor about selling our house. She recommends we put hardwood floors in the living room and ceramic tile in on the kitchen floor. So tim will add that to the list of things we are already going to do. She said she would not list the house for less that 170,000. We only paid 150. it will be great to walk away with some cash at the closing once her commision is paid.
We did offer kathy at work the opportunity to buy the house first because we know she really wanted it. Unfortunatly for her she just can't do it at this time. She has allot on her plate with josh and melody. Melody is the girl i did the baby album for. I found out today that josh just lost his job and kathy is trying to support him. I am sure everything will work out for her its just a little hard at this time. At least she told us now that she couldnt afford the house instead of waiting til the last minute.
On another note my friend khadija at work is having a baby...she actually is having TWINS!
She just got engaged at Christmas and was planning on a yr before they were going to have kids. Well i guess that theory is not going to work. She finds out at the end of march if she is having boys/girls/or one of each. I hope she has one of each.
I am in my 3 semester at school and things are rockin!! In my first semester i got b+ in both classes. In my 2nd semester I got A- and a B. I am shooting for graduating with honors. I got my transcript from my old school in NY and man it is terrible. all it is in d's and f's a few c's ...I was really wasting my time and my professors. Glad i smartned up before i started this time.
well a few more things to do before bed so.....good night, good day and in case i dont see ya....good morning!
yeah its a little backwords but its from the truman show with jim carey. lol

Whats new

Hello!
Well the holidays are finally over and life can get back to normal or as normal as it can be i guess.
Things are going good. There is a special project at work that I put my name is for. It is in Atlanta and its working with the broadband Department. I would be helping them do testing and giving ideas on how to make it better. Its all expenses paid and the project runs from march - November. I hope I get to go. I also put my name in to do team lead for the new classes they have coming in. I really like working with the students. So things a definetly changing at work but i think it will all be for the better.
Tim bought me a zipemate for valentines day. It allows me to make die cuts for my scrapbooking. I am so excited to have one. Speaking of scrapbooking i locked my self in my scrap room yesterday and did my friend kathy's album. She asked me to do a baby book for her son's girlfriend who is having a baby. It took about 3 hrs but all 22 pages are done! YEAH!
Tim is still doing good, he bought a new toy to play with. Its an engraving machine and he can carve wood and all kinds of things with it. So now he will be buying wood and creating things. Stay tuned for pictures. Hope all is well with you .. we are off to the movies.
ohhh and tim got the upstairs wall painted a nice blue/gray. I will post pictures later.
Take care

Yikes

Well looks like i have really neglegted to up date this. First...lets start off with the update of little foxy. His real name is Kewi. He belongs to our neighbors 3 doors down. He is really a very sweet boy. He comes and goes all the time. I guess he is part chow.. who knew? So he will not be joining our family which according to tim is a good thing. I just dont understand why he wont let me love the animals?
We went to Atlanta for Christmas and hung out at Ronnie and Abbies house. We had an awesome time!!! They have this tradition where they eat the big meal on christmas eve. I thought it was weird but actually it really makes sense and is so nice. We have decided to move down there. Tim is going to work for John doing insurance claims. I want to work for Marlin doing IT for t-mobile. As long as i dont have to talk to any customers i almost dont care what i am doing.
I am looking forward to actually having friends to hang out with. I am looking to having more people to scrap with too. What i really what is a person i can just call up and say ...Hey lets get a pedicure or a manicure. or better yet lets catch a movie. I miss having girlfriends to do things with. I miss the girltalk. So needless to say we are moving. YEAH!!!
